Forest Park Ave, Mascuppic Trail and Malvern Ave Replacement Water Mains Project

 

Sealed Bids for the construction of the “Forest Park Ave, Mascuppic Trail, and Malvern Ave Replacement Water Mains Project” will be received by the Dracut Water Supply District at the Water Superintendent’s Office, 59 Hopkins Road, Dracut, MA 01826 until 2:00 p.m. local time on May 16th, 2024, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Sealed Bids must have outer envelope marked as “Forest Park Ave, Mascuppic Trail, and Malvern Ave Replacement Water Mains Project”.


The work consists of the following for each bid area. For all bid areas, the work also consists of all respective surface restoration disturbed during the installation of the water main and accompanying work. Project completion shall be as described in Section 00520. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive [deductive] alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.

 

Base Bid Area
The base bid consists of providing approximately 750 LF of 6-inch ductile iron water main, approximately 7 water services, and approximately 3 hydrants on Forest Park Avenue and Mascuppic Trail.


Bid Alternate 1
Bid alternate 1 consists of providing approximately 1,200 LF of 6-inch ductile iron water main, approximately 14 water services, and 1 fire hydrant on Malvern Avenue.


Bid Alternate 2
Bid alternate 2 consists of providing approximately 120 LF of 6-inch ductile iron water main, 1 water service, and 1 hydrant on Cedar Grove Avenue and Mascuppic Trail.

 

 
All Bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended.
